We are currently hiring for a Senior Legal Secretary position in Glenview IL.
This is an ideal position for someone with 5-7 years of experience working for someone at the partner level. You’ll need to have a solid stable resume, professional and outgoing personality. The ideal candidate will be able to anticipate the needs of the group and support the team with a sense of urgency.

Requirements:
- Ideal candidate should be independent, proactive, and self-motivated with strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must have the experience and ability to successfully support more than one attorney
- Must be able to carry out administrative/secretarial functions with minimal supervision, pay attention to detail, prioritize multiple demands simultaneously, work well under pressure and work independently, yet be a team player
- High level of professionalism is needed to interact with all levels of management
- Must exercise good judgment in dealing with highly confidential matters
- Candidate should possess excellent computer skills with a proficiency in Outlook and Word
- Friendly, positive and constructive attitude
- Seven years of legal experience preferred
- Typing minimum 65 wpm
- Above-average grammar and spelling skills
- Self-starter who willingly takes on other duties and tackles problems with minimal supervision
Duties:
- Revise complex documents, compose/type letters, memos and other correspondence
- Ability to track changes and red-line
- Proofread documents to ensure accuracy and proper grammar
- Proactively address day-to-day requirements
- Sort, prioritize, and handle attorneys’ mail, faxes, email and other correspondence
- Maintain calendar and schedules, and provide reminders on a timely basis
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, including venue and catering
- Prepare and circulate agendas and presentations for meetings
- Arrange all aspects of travel arrangements
- Handle heavy phone contact, including screening
- Prepare complex expense reports with Concur
