We’re currently interviewing for an Accounting Manager position with a great Law Firm in Chicago.
Job Summary: The Accounting Manager is responsible for the cash management of the firm including budgeting, accounts payable/receivable and billing. Accounting Manager is responsible for the management of the employees of the Accounting Department and all of its functions.
Some of the requirements:

Responsible for cash management including interpreting financial information and reporting to the COO
-
4+ years of accounting experience in a professional services firm (law firm desired)

2+ years people management experience in a professional services firm (law firm desired)

Ability to effectively interact with clients on billing and collection matters

Responsible for making sure the firm is utilizing best industry practices with respect to Accounting Department functions
